There Are Doors to Enter

Allow me to explain to you that although I write and am a story teller, I have come to the understanding that the Lord gives me dreams and to a lesser degree visions. I don’t want to make this appear and exclusive thing. The Lord gives dreams and visions like water to MANY MILLIONS across the world. It isn’t hyper spiritual nor is it restricted to “special” people…you may ask the Lord for dreams and visions too. This is not a charismatic rant, although I grant you this is not something you hear everyday. This is the only disclaimer that I will post. If you read me you know who I am.

The Lord showed me that writing stories for the past ten years or so, has been a primer for me to learn how to relate events. It doesn’t mean those stories will end, but they may become a bit less frequent. Spiritual dreams and visions may seem like outliers now, but they will become more and more frequent to many of you.

Not long ago, maybe five years or so, I dreamed an interesting dream… that I just remembered this morning.

My dream…

In my dream, or whatever it was, I stood upon the sky as one would stand upon the ground. And as I stood and looked in front of me, I saw a vast expansive sky before me, as if the sky was a field with no end in sight.

As I stood watching the sky, I saw clouds; while they were still a great distance away from me .

One cloud was about the size of a house and it was on the right moving toward me. The top of the cloud was at the same level as my feet , and I knew that when it finally reached me, I would be able to simply walk onto the top of it without a problem.

As I looked, another cloud, exactly like the other that I had seen, was coming toward me on my left, but they were staggered; that is to say, they alternated…the right one would reach me and then the left one was going to reach me and then another cloud on my right would reach me. They were like stepping stones, one on my right, one on my left, another on my right and so forth…do you understand?

I then saw that these clouds kept appearing, one after the other and they were coming toward me slowly like on an assembly line…and I instinctively know they were coming slowly so that I would be able to step upon one, then; once I had my footing and was stable, I would be able to step to the next cloud on my left, then to the next on my right, like stepping stones.

The Doors…

Upon each cloud there was a door, a beautiful door. I didn’t see the doors at first, I only saw the cloud, and I believe the Spirit of the Lord was allowing me to see the concepts and understand them, before He gave me the whole picture.

The doors had things written upon them, and some of them I couldn’t read…not because they were in a different language, but because they were made to be blurry enough that I would not be able to make them out. These were not for me to see.

However, the doors that I could read had things written such as, “Government”, “Weather”, “Human Relations”, “Farming”, “Travel”, “Innovation”, “Aging”. There were hundreds and thousands of clouds with doors upon them as I finally could focus…they went on for at least a thousand miles because I could see that far.

When the first cloud finally arrived, because it seemed as though I had to wait for quite a while for them to get close to me, I stepped onto it and saw a door that read, “Dreams and Visions”. I didn’t need to turn the knob or handle because it was already open and I knew I was allowed to enter into it.

It is interesting that I had forgotten this dream, (which I have learned is the way the Lord can speak deeper things to me, because my mind battles spiritual things due to my fleshly nature.) He waits for me to get quiet, before He shows me truths that He veils in dreamlike visions. He told me it will not always be this way and said soon He would tell me things when I was not asleep.

Once inside this door, I saw walls and walls and shelves and shelves of what appeared to be like Blockbuster movie cases, like back in the 80’s and nineties, and on each case was written the name of a tutorial such as; “Relating Dreams and Visions” or Useful Comparisons” and “Relatable Concepts.” These, I heard were for me and for others to watch that had been invited…which are millions of others.

I asked why I was seeing this and the person there said, “You need to know how to tell the story of what the Lord is doing and will do…people need to read stories…it is how He taught.” I understood he was speaking about Jesus parables.

He told me I would have a difficult time separating my feelings from the parables, and that He needed to work on areas of my life like depression and anger. The more I allowed the Lord to work on these areas in me, the clearer I could see the tutorial and hear the message so as to be able to relate it with clarity. He said he wanted me to become a reliable witness of what I saw and heard.

I was told to step out of the room and when I did, the next cloud was arriving on my left with a door that was unintelligible. I tried to open it, but it would not open and I heard,

“This one is not for you…right now.” The next cloud was coming and I waited and now, I was standing on the ground, and the clouds were in the sky above me passing as they had passed before, alternating left and right, but I could tell that I would not be able to reach them.

Then I heard, “Tell them, that there are doors I wish for them to enter…and to come boldly to open them.” Every door has a name and those are for the ones who will come secretly to the Lord and call to Him. “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know.” Jer 33:3

Also, the symbolism of clouds means that there are substantial things that exist right before us, but they are not able to be perceived until God shows them to us…but we can ASK Him, and he will show us these great and mighty things. the doors will appear!

This is a new age of information and spiritual release…an age where things that you have never seen, heard or thought of are coming into the physical realm. Earth is going to change and God is teaching rulership.

The changes coming about are all about the beginning of the new age. An age where the church is changed and it’s influence enhanced because His people have moved into a new understanding of what it means to be a ‘new creation’ in Christ Jesus.

What has kept the Church as ineffective as it has been, (and that isn’t a criticism, it is correctly identifying why it has become infertile in some countries, including this one), is that it doesn’t correctly perceive what God has already told us in His word about the age to come and our part in it.

If we cannot identify where we have come from and where we are, then when others want to understand the Kingdom of God, Christians who are still living in the horse and buggy church world will not be capable of explaining how God is transforming the church into a bullet train. God is ALWAYS progressing and moving forward…in all areas of the universe. The church is changing too.

Mind renewal is key to receiving the keys to the kingdom.
